SSC Vacancy Details: Name of the Exam: Combined Graduate Level Exam 2017 Name of the Post:
Age of candidate should be 20 to 30 years. Age relaxation is provided to reserved category as per the Government rule.
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
SSC CGL 2017 Application Fee
Candidates can submit fee thru SBI challan/net banking and debit/credit card.
Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 100.
Female, SC/ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates no need to pay any application fee.
Payment of SSC CGL 2017 Application Fee: Candidates can pay the application fee online though SBI net banking or cash through SBI bank challan.
After completion of part I registration, take a print out of the challan generated online.
Deposit the fee in any branch of State Bank of India.
Through online mode, pay the application fee in the part II registration.
Through SBI net banking or any other credit/debit card, the application fee can be paid.
SSC CGL Examination 2017 Complete Details

Tier 1 Syllabus
Tier 1 is an objective test conducted in online mode. There will be four sections of Tier 1 exam including General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and English Comprehension. There will be 100 questions of 200 marks.
Tier 2 Syllabus
Tier 2 will be also an objective type test which will be conducted in online mode. The exam will consist of 100 questions out of 200 marks from Quantitative Abilities, Statistics, English Language and Comprehension & General Studies (Finance & Economics).
Tier 3 Syllabus
Tier 3 will be basically a descriptive test conducted in order to test the written skills of applicants in Hindi/English. In this test, candidates will be asked to write Letter/Essay/Application/Precis. If you want to prepare for Tier 3 exam effectively then the best way is reading article published in the newspaper.
Tier 4 Syllabus
Tier 4 will consist of a couple of skill test that will be required for few government posts. Details are given below:
Data Entry Speed Test (DEST): Data Entry Speed Test is conducted in order to verify the typing speed of the candidates. Candidates will be given a printer matter in English what exactly they need to type on a computer. The speed should be at least 200 key depressions in 15 minutes.
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): There will be three modules of Computer Proficiency Test including Word Processing, Spread Sheet and Generation of Slides. This test is conducted for the aspirants interested to get recruited for the post of Assistants of CSS and will be qualifying in nature.
